Yoshitha and Avinash

Yoshitha and Avinash met in college and there were definitely some sparks there. But, these two did not go out on a date until three years later! Avinash asked Yoshitha out on a date and the rest is history! Yoshitha agrees that the timing could not have been better; after all, everything worked out perfectly. Well, fast-forward to their wedding celebrations. To start, Yoshitha and Avinash created this elaborate spreadsheet which had every minute detail noted down; with attention to the tee. These two enjoyed planning things together, so they knew they were going to plan their wedding functions together too. They drew out designs for the décor, they created colour combinations and choose colour palettes, they wrote down outfit options and basically used this spreadsheet as their elaborately detailed vision board.

The pre-wedding festivities started with the sangeet practices which were a lot of fun according to Yoshitha, “Especially since Avi has two left feet”, she claims. The first wedding event was the muhurtam. The next day was the day sangeet followed by the reception at night. Then, Yoshitha and Avinash had a cocktail night with their close friends and family to end the wedding festivities; this event was a way for them to say thank you to everyone for making all their events so special! So, the first function was the wedding day where Yoshitha wore a beautiful orange saare and Avinash complemented her with his traditional cream attire. Yoshitha choose to cover her head with a gorgeously draped gold dupatta and she looked absolutely breathtaking. The décor was flawless too; the coupled managed to make all the painstaking spreadsheet details come to life.

The next day was the sangeet and reception. Yoshitha looked beautiful in a soft baby pink lehenga that made heads turn while Avinash looked as dapper as ever in his sherwani. The couple set the floor on fire with their dance moves; Yoshitha performed with her bridesmaids while Avinash did this really good skit with his family. Then, the couple took over the dance floor and performed to Pehla Nasha and Woh Ladki Hai Kahan.

The sangeet was followed by a reception at night, and can we just say that the décor took a 180-degree turn in a matter of hours. From the soft pastel hues for the sangeet, there was now this gorgeous stage with red flowers creating the most striking background. Again, kudos to the wedding spreadsheet and all the immaculate details which turned into perfection! Yoshitha wore a beautiful gold gown and Avinash complemented her in a black suit with a gold tie – the pictures turned out just so perfect, and we couldn’t be happier! The couple spent the night mingling, laughing, chilling and talking to their family and friends; the vibe was fun and happy. The perfect end to the perfect night!

The next day, Yoshitha and Avinash had a cocktail party to say thank you to their family and friends for being a part of their big day. Yoshitha looked drop-dead gorgeous in a royal green gown while Avniash wore a three-piece suit. The couple and their friends showed off their moves on the dance floor, and we couldn’t get enough! Yoshitha and Avinash had the time of their lives at their wedding celebrations; they were always smiling ear to ear.

After the wedding festivities were over, we sent across some pictures to Yoshitha and Avinash for their social media as well as some couple shots. Yoshitha said she was in love with the photographs and sent us the sweetest message ever. “I have been following Lightbucket Productions for almost 4 years now and I have a huge fan of your work. In fact, Avinash is also a huge fan. You know, we booked your company even before we had set our wedding dates because we did not want any other vendor for photography. Avinash and I had the best time shooting with your team; everyone was so friendly and yet so professional. They meet us feel very comfortable during the photoshoots and kept the mood light. Avi and I got everything that we wanted and more, and we could not be more satisfied with the quality of work. Having Lightbucket Productions was the best decision ever.”
