Job Description: Social Media Manager (Wedding Photography Company)

We are seeking a talented and creative Social Media Manager to join our wedding photography company. As the Social Media Manager, you will be responsible for handling our Instagram presence, collaborating with our photographers and cinematographers, planning engaging campaigns, and working closely with our PR team to differentiate our brand from competitors.

Responsibilities:

Instagram Management:

  • Develop and execute a comprehensive Instagram strategy to enhance brand visibility, engagement, and conversion rates.

  • Create and curate compelling content, including high-quality images and videos, that showcases our wedding photography services and captures the essence of our brand.

  • Craft engaging captions and utilize relevant hashtags to optimize reach and engagement.

  • Monitor and respond to comments, messages, and inquiries from followers in a timely and professional manner.

  • Analyze Instagram insights and data to measure the effectiveness of campaigns and adjust strategies accordingly.

    Collaboration with Photographers and Cinematographers:

  • Collaborate closely with our team of photographers and cinematographers to obtain high-quality visual assets for social media content.

  • Coordinate with editors to create captivating reels and highlight videos that showcase our wedding photography and cinematography services.

  • Work collaboratively with the creative team to ensure consistent branding across all social media platforms.

  • Campaign Planning:

  • Conceptualize, plan, and execute strategic campaigns on Instagram to promote our services, special offers, and seasonal promotions.

  • Collaborate with the marketing team to create visually appealing and engaging content for campaigns.

  • Monitor campaign performance, track metrics, and provide insights and recommendations for future campaigns.

    Branding and PR:

  • Work closely with the PR team to establish and maintain a unique brand identity that sets us apart from competitors.

  • Collaborate on initiatives to enhance brand awareness, including cross-promotion with influencers, collaborations, and partnerships.

  • Stay updated on industry trends and competitor activities to identify opportunities for differentiation and innovation.

    Requirements:

  • Previous experience as a Social Media Manager, preferably in the wedding or photography industry. (Added advantage)

  • Proven track record of managing and growing Instagram accounts, increasing engagement and followers.

  • Strong visual and creative skills, with a keen eye for aesthetics and an understanding of photography and cinematography.

  • Proficiency in content creation and editing tools, as well as a good understanding of Instagram algorithms and features.

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to craft compelling captions and engage with followers.

  • Strong project management and organizational skills, with the ability to meet deadlines and manage multiple campaigns simultaneously.

  • Analytical mindset, with the ability to analyze social media data and derive insights for optimization.

  • Knowledge of current social media trends, best practices, and emerging platforms.
