We met in the UK towards the end of our master’s degrees and were crazy enough to start a long-distance relationship across continents, after dating for one and a half months! We were just that sure of us.
And after a year of dating, our families met over zoom and just clicked - like long lost friends. The feelings of déjà vu that kept popping up further confirmed our belief that our paths were meant to cross. We met hundreds of obstacles during COVID with regulations changing, visas pending and loved ones testing positive. But the army of humans that helped pull everything together was beyond phenomenal. And it truly was a magical experience.
