Trisha and Rohan

Trisha and Rohan have the sweetest meet-cute love story; they started off as friends, became best friends and eventually started dating! Trisha admitted to having the biggest crush on Rohan when she saw him for the first time in college. This couple eventually ended up moving to Boston, so planning their big fat wedding in India required a whole lot of organising, especially due to the difference in time zones.

Trisha said that the theme for their wedding was “fun”. Since they were getting married in the midst of the Covid pandemic, in June 2022, they wanted their guests to just have a great time. While the glitz and glamour of the wedding was an important focal point, ensuring that the guests have the best time of their lives was just as important to these college sweethearts. Of course, a wedding that is set to happen in India was being planned from Boston over phone calls and Zoom meetings, so there were some hitches and glitches here and there, but Trisha felt that none of this mattered as long as they got to celebrate their big day with their loved ones. As she said, “Only the best memories live on.”

Rohan and Trisha had four main events, all of which took place at the Leela Palace in Bangalore. The first night, they had an intimate cocktail with their close friends and family. The next day was the mehendi function, which was bright, bold, cheerful and colourful, filled with happy faces and vibrant hues, just what the couple wanted. Then was the glamorous sangeet where Rohan and Trisha, and their near and dear ones, rocked the dance floor. And we have to say, Rohan’s moves were on fire! And finally, a very chic and classic cocktail reception to mark the end of the festivities.

For Trisha, her fondest wedding memory was seeing all the people around her having fun. Every time she looked around, her guests were laughing, talking, dancing, mingling and just having an absolute blast - clearly, the wedding theme was a massive hit!

So, we asked Trisha, what made you choose Light Bucket Productions? She said, after a lot of research she came across our website and fell in love with the portfolio. She loved the intimacy of the photographs as well as the style of editing, which were the two main things that caught her eye. Here’s what she had to say, “Light Bucket Productions understood my vision and captured the wedding events flawlessly. They did not miss a moment! The team was amazing to work with; friendly, warm and very adjusting to schedules. The team fit in so seamlessly, it almost felt like they were part of the group of guests invited to our wedding.”
