Namratha and Deepak
Namratha and Deepak met each other in Virginia. These two used to live just 15 minutes away from each other when they were kids, but they never knew. Talk about a small world! Anyway, these two met, hit it off, discovered just how much they had in common and here we are, on their wedding day!
Namratha and Deepak were sure about one thing; they wanted to get married in India. As Namratha put it, “India just has that magical feeling to it.” For them, being close to family, friends and relatives, most of whom were back in India was very important. Namratha and Deepak had quite a few functions, starting with the mehendi and Var puja, the next day was the sangeet followed by the Muhurtham and reception. The wedding events started with a small pooja, and the couple looked adorable in their matching outfits! For the mehendi, Namratha wore a beautiful blue lehenga choli from Koskii and Deepak looked dapper in a complementary outfit. Their mehendi function was filled with love, laughter and a whole lot of colour. A special shout out to the mehendi artist who did an absolutely stunning job.
The next day, the couple had the Var puja where all their family and relatives came to shower them with love and blessings. Namratha and Deepak couldn’t take their eyes off each other at this function, and we couldn’t keep our cameras off them! They looked absolutely adorable and Namratha stunned in a classic sari from Deepam and Vijaylakshmi Silks. After this was the sangeet; an event filled with a whole lot of dancing, happy faces and stellar performances. Namratha and Deepak danced to Tera Chera and they totally rocked! Again, the couple wore complementary outfits in shades of blue and can we just say we love how much thought and effort went into their matching outfits! And, as you can see, the couple's pictures turned out fabulous.
The next was the Muhurtham, which is a traditional south Indian wedding. The mandap absolutely blew our minds, it was so chic and simple, yet so beautiful. And of course, Namratha and Deepak looked so happy to be there, at that moment. With love in their eyes and never-ending smiles on their faces, the couple tied the knot and said yes to forever. The Muhurtham was followed by a reception, where their friends, family and loved ones joined them in celebrating their new union.
For Namratha and Deepak, the best memory was that they got to meet their loved ones after so long. As Namrathe said, “For me, meeting all my friends and family, especially the ones that I had not seen in years was just so special. And of course, having them be a part of such an important celebration made it all the more special.” In fact, we even got a heartfelt message from the couple after we delivered their wedding photographs. Namratha and Deepak were especially happy with the beautiful moments that were captured, and now they can remember these moments forever.
